at the seam of past and present,
new echoes, traces, new times.
look into your bowl, trace the rim round,
wish for and wish out,
drip drop into portals and soak in your emptiness—
come here and holler!
the moon she holds it all:

tonight we celebrate, mourn, and jest.
together, cold palms wrapped around warm bowls
souls and limbs tangled in amusement and smooth matter.
